How to cook a Cornish Game Hen?

Hello friends on this great site Yahoo Answers! I have a couple of those little Cornish game hens, and was wondering how to cook in my oven … not a “pop up” timer, so I’m helpless! ha! ha !!… As you can probably tell, I’m not a gourmet chief .. but I can boil water and do a “Hot Water Soup “!!.. it has no fat, no calories, no sodium and no flavor either! ha! ha !!… but I make really good fried chicken cutlets … 350 degrees 30 min. Taken !!… turkey breast and I have pop-up timers .. but how long should I cook a Cornish game hen? and at what temperature? … she weight 1.8 pounds. Each … I cook them both at the same time … no? .. Thanks for your advice … I will wait to hear before I try to cook it … please hurry!, I’m hungry! he! he!

On January 1 – 1-1/2 hours on average, 325 or less at 350, but I would poke for sure. No pink when you poke through the thigh, you are probably good. I prefer chicken is cooked. Try splitting them in half and brush with some orange marmalade or other jam / jelly. Or just season with garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter. Cook, cut side down and do not forget to season the inside too! Good Luck
